Travel to Rome affords visitors the opportunity to see amazing artworks in a variety of museums and exhibits, including the stunning artwork in the Stadel Museum collection. These include works by Vincent Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso and Pierre-Auguste Renoir.
A selection of paintings from the Frankfurt venue will be showcased at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome from April through July. This is the first time that this number of artistic treasure has been borrowed from the German institution for display in Italy. The Installation will cover everything from realism and impressionism to symbolism and the avant-garde. Paul Klee, Max Ernst and Paul Cezanne are some of the masters whose work will be spotlighted. A major part of the exhibit is devoted to symbolism, as represented by that groups' most most important artists including Bocklin, Ensor, Moreau, Munch and Redon. These masters evoke imagined and disquieting worlds in their greatest works.
